Cow Lane Mill
Cow Lane Mill was built around 1789, and orginally produced cotton cloth. In 1817, it changed to processing silk. The stone beds of the bearings for some of the equipment can still be seen in the stonework next to the path, opposite the initial view in the panorama
The mill was driven by a water wheel in the valley on the right in the initial view. The millstream and pond are now heavily silted up and overgrown, and little can be seen of the structure of the mill.
