Hedge Laying

The KRIV Volunteer Team have been hedge laying for the past five years. Fully trained with the help of BTCV training courses and Marbury Country Park rangers who have helped with advanced hedge laying tips, the team look forward to the hedge laying season each year. There are many examples of our work in Rainow, Kerridge and Pott Shrigley.

If you have a hedge that you would like laid in the traditional Cheshire style please contact John Stagg directly or email Richard@kriv.org.uk . We will happily come out and see your hedge and discuss various options that may help you. All money raised from the work goes towards the annual costs of our overheads and new tools when required.

 KRIV Volunteers

The KRIV volunteers are steadily growing in numbers and experience. The team is run by volunteers for volunteers. New members are welcome to join in on a Friday. Either turn up on a Friday at 9.30am at Savio House or contact Richard@kriv.org.uk for more details.

The archaeological report for Cow Lane Mill, Rainow is now available for you to read. The report can be found in our Documents section. I hope you enjoy reading it as the volunteers who took part in the investigation certainly enjoyed working on the site.
