Apologies for all those who have been looking at the KRIV website for new updates. I have had a few difficulties carrying out the regular updates, but hope to solve the problem soon.

Cow Lane Mill Archaeological Investigation

Phase II of Cow Lane Mill archaeological investigation will begin on 2nd June 2008. Mark Fletcher and his team will return to the site to begin exposing the site of the sluice gate and original wheel pit.

The community are invited to take part in the dig from Monday 9th June. Please contact Richard at the KRIV office if you are interested in taking part. All work will be supervised by Mark Fletcher and training given on site, so no previous experience required.

Volunteer Timetable

The volunteer group is now averaging 16 volunteers each Friday to carry out a variety of tasks. If you would still like to join the group please contact the KRIV office beforehand to check on availability.
