welcome
The Kerridge Ridge and Ingersley Vale Countryside and Heritage Project is a community project that began in 1998. The aim of the project is to retain and restore industrial heritage features that are found in the local landscape.
On this site, you can find out all about the project, its aims and objectives and the plans for the future. We'll be letting you know why the project was created and, just as importantly, the things that it's not here to do.
The project has includes an active Volunteer Programme. The aim of the programme is to offer local people the opportunity to work in the countryside on environmental and conservation projects. There is a weekly task group that meet each Friday to help with a variety of conservation projects. Please take a look at the programme and the team look forward to welcoming you on a Friday.
For up to date information about the project and volunteer tasks, please view the News or Volunteer Training pages.
